Does the thought of getting older have you feeling more “spooked” than normal this Halloween season? Then we have a few simple tips to help you or a loved one take on this stage of life with confidence and cheerfulness.
1. Stay Active
At Meadow Oaks of Roseville, we thoughtfully design activity calendars based on our residents’ interests and abilities to help them stay feeling healthy and active. This can mean something different for each resident, and we’re here to help you find the best way to keep your body and mind moving. From yoga and exercise classes to taking a stroll around the community, our Vibrant Life® program lets our residents plan each day their way and have fun while doing it!
2. Stay Social
It’s never too late to make new friends. That’s why one of the seven core components of our Vibrant Life® program is staying social. No one should have to do life on their own, and that’s why we encourage community at Meadow Oaks. By offering group activities, common areas to hang out and relax in, and inclusive dining areas for people to eat meals together, each community really is like one big family.
3. It’s Never Too Late To Chase Dreams
We are fiercely passionate about supporting our residents’ dreams and encouraging them to keep setting goals to work toward. One of our favorite programs is “Livin’ the Dream,” which is designed to take our residents’ dreams and make them a reality. From throwing the first pitch at a local baseball game to driving a classic vintage race car, residents can truly fulfill their dreams with Meadow Oaks of Roseville.
